Ontario Royals Spring Training 2020
The Ontario Royals will be returning to Sanford, Florida from March 11th - March 18th for a great week of Spring Training in 2020.

BASEBALL INFO:

We will be based out of the Boombah Sports Complex which features fifteen state-of-the-art lighted athletic Fields - including four 385’ to Center Field / Synthetic Turf fields, and five 350’ to Center Field / Synthetic Turf fields.

In addition, we have arranged to train out of The Dugout - an indoor facility in the Sanford area. This will allow our players to continue to weight train, as well as get additional baseball reps, regardless of weather.

We'll also be able to capture data on each of our players using BaseballCloud Software during our training sessions.

The Dugout features:

- 17,000 square feet of training
- 7 batting cages
- 7 pitching mounds
- Separate Soft toss and Tee work station
- Strength and agility areas
- Indoor lounge with free wi-fi
- Weight Room
- 2 fields – Major League turf infields, grass outfields, lights

We are currently working with staff at the Dugout (which includes two pro scouts), as well as local Colleges/Universities to put together a Showcase-type event for our players during our time in Florida.

Schedules for both teams (15U & 17U) are yet to be finalized, but we are ecstatic about the opportunity to play some Florida/southern-state competition in warm weather mid-March.

OFF-FIELD INFO:

We will be arranging to attend both a University of Central Florida baseball game, as well as a Stetson University baseball game - both NCAA Division 1 Programs that have produced a ton of pro-level talent.

If our schedule permits, we will also attend an MLB Spring Training game in Lakeland (home of the Detroit Tigers).

*All ticket costs will be covered by the Royals during the trip.

Looking forward to a great Spring Training 2020! #ST2020
